“The Game Industry of Poland – Report 2025” is the newest edition of a publication prepared by the Polish Agency for Enterprise Development (PARP), presenting an updated picture of one of the most dynamic sectors of the Polish creative industries. The report includes current statistical data and profiles of active Polish gaming companies, reflecting the structure and strengths of an industry that today comprises 824 studios and employs 14,568 specialists.

The publication confirms Poland’s position as one of the leading game-producing countries in Europe, with 97% of all games developed in Poland sold on global markets. Beyond game development, the report highlights areas in which Poland has built internationally recognized expertise: digital distribution (GOG.com), localization, external development, asset production, and Europe’s largest QA and testing hub.

Despite a global downturn in the gaming sector, the Polish industry remains resilient — employment has declined only slightly, while key studios continue work on major productions in segments such as AAA, horror, simulation, and strategy/city-builder games. More than 40 Polish game brands have already surpassed one million copies sold worldwide.

As one of the youngest yet fastest-growing branches of the creative industries, Polish gamedev continues to show strong long-term development potential, driven by global demand for interactive entertainment and the sector’s proven ability to innovate and compete internationally.
